Role Mission

We’re looking for a Smart Contract Developer who will join our Development team and contribute to building next-gen tools for Web3.

The person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing smart contracts — with a focus on Solidity — as well as collaborating with the product and research teams to push the boundaries of what smart contract development can be.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, write, and test smart contracts in Solidity
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Designers to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Maintain and refactor smart contracts for security, performance, and readability
• Research and experiment with token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and DeFi primitives
• Support the development of web3 features within the AKB Platform
• Help improve the Kode Sherpa AI assistant by identifying common developer needs and pain points

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in smart contract development with Solidity
• Familiarity with common standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, etc.)
• Solid understanding of the EVM and smart contract best practices
• Experience with tools like Hardhat, Truffle, Remix, and Foundry
• Good knowledge of Javascript/Typescript and web3.js / ethers.js
• Comfortable working with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Passion for Web3 and decentralized technologies
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
• Fluent in English (professional proficiency required)

Contract & Commitment

We offer a full-time permanent contract by default.

However, we’re also open to part-time arrangements based on demonstrated skills and experience.

We provide accommodation in the city of Pescara and reimburse travel or relocation expenses, should you choose to work from our headquarters.

Location

This is a remote-first position: you can work from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a reliable internet connection and can align with our core working hours (CET).

We also have a base in Pescara, Italy — and if you'd like to spend time working on-site, we'll be happy to host you.
