Data Engineer - iGaming in EUROPEAN UNION

BettingJobs is partnering with our client, a leading technology brand within the iGaming industry, in their search for a Data Engineer to join their team based remotely.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and must have strong expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool). They will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into clean, usable datasets, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and manage DBT models for transforming data from various sources.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across different systems.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of data workflows.
• Work with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Document technical processes and data flows.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in DBT is a must.
• Experience working with modern data stacks and cloud data platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and data modelling principles.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fully remote environment.
