Description
We are looking for a skilled IP Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize robust network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IP design, routing and switching, network automation, and troubleshooting. This role requires a proactive approach to network capacity planning, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
IP Network Design & Planning: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and efficient IP network architectures.
Router Capacity Planning: Analyze and forecast router capacity requirements to ensure optimal performance.
Routing & Switching Configuration: Configure and optimize routing and switching protocols for seamless connectivity.
Network Automation: Utilize scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash to automate network tasks and improve efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Analysis: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues using advanced monitoring tools like packet analyzers and network performance monitoring solutions.
Transmission Planning: Design and manage transmission systems for optimal data flow.
Network Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance network performance to meet business and technical requirements.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date network documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align network strategies with business objectives.
