Creative Director in SOUTH AFRICA

About the Role

At Lumico, creativity is at the heart of everything we do. We need a leader who doesn’t just push pixels and pen punchlines—but someone who drives powerful brand stories, stunning visuals, and innovative campaigns across ATL and digital platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire our copywriting and design teams to produce world-class creative work.
• Craft compelling brand narratives, visuals, and strategic campaigns that stand out.
• Work closely with strategy, media buying, and production to bring campaigns to life.
• Own the creative process—from brainstorming big ideas to ensuring final execution is flawless.
• Mentor and grow a team of talented creatives, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration.
• Stay ahead of the curve with the latest design trends, tech, and storytelling methods.
• Be client-facing, pitching and presenting creative work with confidence.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in a creative leadership role.
• Expertise in either copywriting or graphic design (both? Even better!).
• A deep understanding of branding, digital marketing, and advertising.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, project management tools, and Meta Business Suite.
• A high EQ, strong leadership skills, and a knack for building team culture.
• Someone who believes in the power of bold ideas and data-driven storytelling.
