Apigee Architect in SAUDI ARABIA

Our client is a renowned global innovator, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apigee Architect with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of GCP, Apigee, and architecture, coupled with expertise in Kubernetes, Unix, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible, Docker, and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities:

• Optimise APIs and API management processes: Be a key player in our customer projects and take on the analysis, design and development of modern APIs and API management processes.
• Solve problems: Coordinate the parties involved in integration projects and support customers in evaluating new integration solutions and tools.
• Coordinate customer projects: Advise and support our customers in evaluating API management solutions and hold the reins in the project.
• In-depth knowledge: Successfully completed university degree in the field of computer science or in comparable fields
• API Management: Ideally experience with API management solutions (e.g. Apigee, Kong, WSO2, MuleSoft, Azure API Management) and integration tools (e.g. Swagger/OpenAPI, Istio)
• Technical knowledge: Knowledge of Unix, Docker, Kubernetes or Google Cloud
• apigee certification desirable

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud and API Architect with a focus on GCP and Apigee with minimum 5 yrs of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• In-depth knowledge of Unix systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Docker for containerization.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• GCP and Apigee certifications preferred.

Language:

• English is a must
• Arabic is an advantage
