Mustard specialises in growth marketing for startups and scaleups in Singapore. We leverage high-impact SEO and Paid Media strategies to help businesses achieve their KPIs consistently and predictably.
We’ve gained some serious momentum this year and are looking for a Senior Designer to join us to continue to fuel our growth and the growth of our Clients.

What will you be doing?
Creating thoughtful, quality visual creatives (Eg. article infographics, ad creatives, wireframes, social media posts) for both Mustard’s marketing efforts and client projects.
Maintaining standards of excellence within the department
Applying design principles to your work, guided by client brand guidelines – rather than letting what’s trendy define your output
Use creative tools to design creatives - Adobe Creative Suite (AI, PS, AE, Premier Pro), Figma, Canva. Familiarity with these software is a given, as there will be little opportunity to learn them from scratch.
Experience in Procreate and Adobe’s AI Image generation feature is a huge plus.
Who You Are
You have a strong technical design foundation - Particularly a strong sense of layout, hierarchy, white space, contrast, grid systems. You require minimal guidance to apply these principles appropriately.
Every design decision has a clear thought process, rooted in design rules/ UX principles/ concepts. You don’t add/ omit things just because ‘it feels nicer this way’.
You take the effort to understand the intention and context surrounding each deliverable - user flow, objective of this creative piece, placement (mobile vs desktop) - and make design decisions based on these insights.
You’re familiar with balancing between excellence, client needs, and time.
You’re comfortable articulating your design decisions/reasonings in a collaborative manner that non-designers can understand.
You’re comfortable working with creative briefs, and turning those requests (often made by non-designers) into creative outputs.
You enjoy working independently, managing your own timelines and workload in collaboration with our Client Success team (Project management).
You're comfortable switching between a few accounts (and their contexts/ design requirements) within a day. Having experience working in an agency is a huge plus.
You’re open to learning, and admitting you may not always have the best answer. You prioritise the best outcome over personal opinions, seniority etc.
You have a good command of English, and are comfortable communicating (both written and spoken) in Professional contexts.
