Mycelium Marketing is seeking an experienced Shopify web developer and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in web development, particularly within the Shopify platform, coupled with expertise in optimizing conversion rates to drive meaningful results for our clients.

Mycelium Marketing is a purpose-driven creative agency specializing in social media advertising, search ads, and conversion rate optimization for direct-to-consumer brands in the outdoor and wellness industries. We are passionate about making a positive impact for our clients. Our primary focus is on collaborating with eCommerce brands operating on Shopify.

Job Title: Shopify Web Developer

This is a part-time role to start with potential to quickly become a full-time role with benefits for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize Shopify websites to enhance user experience and maximize conversion rates.
• Conduct page audits of the conversion rate, user experience, site speed, etc., to identify any issues and opportunities for improving the conversion rate and increasing the average order value (AOV).
• Implement A/B tests and analyze data to identify opportunities for improving website performance and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with the advertising team to ensure website changes align with overall campaign objectives and messaging.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Shopify development and CRO.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Shopify-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Shopify web development, including experience with Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Demonstrated experience in optimizing conversion rates and improving user experience on Shopify websites.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience working in an agency setting or in-house for direct-to-consumer brands is preferred.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms for CRO, such as Google Optimize, Hotjar, Intelligems, or Optimizely, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
