Security Software Engineer in AMSTERDAM AREA

JAVA SECURITY SOFTWARE DEVELOPER:

A leading Market-Making Trading Firm is seeking an adept Java Security Software Developer to lead projects, develop new security solutions, perform security testing, and remediate security-related incidents. This role has plenty of scope for growth and has the potential to transition into a Global Lead position (giving the opportunity to grow your own team)!

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, test, and operate advanced software security solutions
• Performing security testing and code review
• Troubleshoot and debug security-related incidents which arise
• Provide engineering designs for new software solutions
• Promote secure coding practices and mentor other engineers across the business on these
• Maintain technical documentation
• Lead projects
• Work within the Java Software Development Team, and work closely with the infosec team and other engineers across the business

Requirements:

• Extensive experience developing security solutions
• Proficiency with Java development (experience with Python and C++ is a plus)
• Detailed knowledge of authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security and vulnerabilities
• Extensive experience troubleshooting and resolving security-related incidents
• Experience implementing and customizing SSO solutions (experience with OKTA is a strong plus)
• Adequate knowledge of web-related technologies, Service Oriented Architecture, and network protocols
