About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will manage and optimize Linux servers, install and maintain control panels, and ensure smooth server operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, and Rocky Linux, as well as expertise in database management (MySQL, MariaDB). Responsibilities:
Install and configure Linux operating systems (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, Rocky).
Manage and maintain control panels and server environments.
Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues.
Optimize MySQL and MariaDB databases for better performance.
Implement system security, backups, and updates.
Provide timely support to resolve system issues and minimize downtime.
Assist with automation and scripting tasks for system management.
Regularly audit server resources to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Linux distributions such as CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, and Rocky Linux.
Experience with control panel installations (cPanel, Plesk, etc.).
Expertise in MySQL and MariaDB database optimization.
Familiarity with server monitoring tools and log management.
Solid understanding of networking, firewall configurations, and system security.
Experience with shell scripting or automation tools is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Certification in Linux or related fields (RHCE, LPIC, etc.).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
