Hey Guys is a strategic product design partner helping forward-thinking companies use design as a driver for progress and sustainable growth. We work as an extension of our clients’ teams, collaborating closely to create meaningful, scalable digital experiences.
We’re looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer who’s eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a supportive, experienced team. You should care deeply about creating visually pleasing, thoughtful, and user-friendly experiences.

What you’ll do
As you support our team and work alongside clients’ cross-functional teams, you’ll help turn insights into beautiful and functional digital experiences. This is a learning-focused role where initiative, curiosity, and creativity are just as important as technical skills. You will:
- Collaborate with internal teams, as well as cross-functional client teams and stakeholders (including development, product management, design, and marketing), to help create seamless and impactful consumer experiences and products.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for product or feature enhancements.
- Stay curious and engaged with industry trends, design patterns, and user behaviour.
- Iterate on existing designs based on feedback and direction.
- Present your work and thinking clearly, and take feedback with openness.
- Use design and prototyping tools (especially Figma) to support project delivery.
You should have
We value mindset, effort, and potential just as much as experience. We want to see that you’ve dabbled across phases of the design process and that you’re eager to grow. You should have:
- 2+ years of experience in a product design team, contributing to the design and delivery of digital products.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong UI design skills, attention to detail, and a considered approach to user experience.
- An interest in designing clean, user-friendly interfaces.
- A basic understanding of user needs, and curiosity about how design can meet them.
- An interest in user research and testing — even if you’re still learning the methods.
- The ability to clearly communicate your design ideas and rationale.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn from teammates and clients.
- The discipline and structure to contribute as a remote team member using tools like Google Workspace and Slack.
- A dedicated workspace and reliable infrastructure for remote work.
We’re offering
We’re offering an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of renewal or even a transition to a permanent role for those who truly stand out in our team.
The remuneration on offer for this position will be market-related and dependent on demonstrated ability and prior experience.
