An essential role for taking charge of all brand experience related activities including store planning, visual merchandising and events for IWC Korea within the framework of the HQ directions and local business priorities. His/Her main objectives are to solidify our Maison’s leadership as the core luxury timepiece brand in Korea by securing customer’s brand experience at its highest level
Activities
Store Planning
Lead and execute key local store opening/closing/renovation/relocation projects
Plan store opening in line with sales team and actively communicate with HQ store planning counterpart & stakeholders to ensure opening of the store on time
Guide contractors for layout and materials and support order and shipment
Manage contractors to ensure quality and efficiency by regularly visiting storage of contractors and assessing performance
Share local needs and suggest relevant tools or actions with HQ Brand Experience team
Ensure high quality boutique experience in all channels: internal boutiques, domestic retailers, duty free boutiques
Visual merchandise
Adapt HQ guideline and lead local VM campaigns and operation to support and accelerate local business
VM budget management and reporting
Plan and lead the VM champion community by organizing monthly calls with VM responsibles in internal boutiques
Manage order, shipment, distribution and stock of VM materials
Distribution of VM guidelines to the boutique level to maintain the same level of brand experience to the excellence
Understand the seasonal animation and execute PLV order / installation for boutique & POS
Manage creativity setting including PLV material order & disposal
Manage PLV: forecast, order, shipment, distribution, stock, and destruction
Detailed analysis and estimation of PLV stock for in-time delivery for future uses
PLV budget & stock management / handling logistic process
Event orchestration
Lead and execute annual key event implementation by liaising with HQ Brand Experience team to orchestrate event production & visual presentation
Locate and contact the best agency according to the purpose and concept of the event
Manage and supervise agencies to achieve the highest standards in production, execution and operation
Adaptable to hybrid or virtual events, with knowledge of what it takes online and off, including the latest tools, platforms and technologies to bring the brand’s objectives to life
Select and arrange logistics for the watch presentation
Requirements
Min. 7 or 8 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in the high-end retail industry (luxury jewelry and watch is a plus)
Strong knowledge of store planning and visual merchandise
Strong communication skills both in Korean and English
Solid local network with key agencies within luxury market in Korea
