JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for Senior Solution Architect with 8+ years in software development or IT architecture roles, with at least 3 years focused on solution architecture.

The Senior Solution Architect will work closely with the head of the company to understand and implement the strategic vision of "One Platform," a unified platform integrating project management, software tools, and DevOps tools. This individual will be responsible for designing solutions that align with the platform's overarching goals, ensuring consistency, scalability, and coherence across all integrated tools.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with leadership to capture and translate strategic objectives into functional architectural blueprints for "One Platform."
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures that address current and future needs for project management, software, and DevOps tooling integration.
  • Establish architectural best practices, guidelines, and standards for platform components, driving a scalable and maintainable design.
  • Oversee the integration and alignment of multiple tools within the platform, ensuring seamless user experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Work with various technical teams (development, DevOps, security) to ensure solutions align with the architectural vision.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and technical challenges in the platform design and deployment phases.


REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills:

  • Strong in software architecture and design principles, particularly with platform or toolchain integrations.
  • Strong background in software architecture, system design, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and API design.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, TypeScript).
  • Deep understanding of databases (SQL) and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with modern project management tools and software development platforms.
  • Knowledge of data integration and middleware solutions to ensure interoperability across different toolsets.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives and constraints.
  • Partner with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the organization.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear terms for stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate and address future requirements.
  • Strategic mindset with a clear understanding of platform lifecycle management.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to guide cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with senior management.

Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years in software development or IT architecture roles, with at least 3 years focused on solution architecture.
  • Proven track record of designing large-scale platforms, ideally with a focus on the integration of multiple tools or services.
  • Prior experience in a senior or lead role working directly with executive-level stakeholders on platform or enterprise-scale projects.

Language

  • Proficiency in English or Japanese (N3, N2, N1)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with an understanding of how they can be integrated into platform-level solutions.
  • Experience in Agile project management methodologies and tools.
  • Background in developing security frameworks or working with compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) to secure large-scale platforms.
