WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
We are looking for candidates to join our
ground segment networks team, which is responsible for the
design, implementation and deployment of communication networks for satellite navigation systems.
The team includes network and hardware experts in charge of platforms supporting mission relevant ground systems in Europe, such as the European Galileo and LEO-PNT satellite constellations that provide positioning and navigation services worldwide.
The main activities associated with the position are:
- Installation and configuration of hardware networks
- Installation, configuration and upgrade of network devices
- Design and implementation of virtualised networks
- Network systems integration
- Validation of network systems
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
- Routing and switching
- Experience in network security devices (firewalls, hardening, etc.)
- Linux-based systems administration
- Virtualization architectures based on VMWare
- Troubleshooting experience (Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Structured cabling
- Experience in complex IT network systems (design, testing, upgrades)
