About SurePlug by Fluxel
SurePlug, a flagship product by Fluxel, is a cutting-edge platform that leverages blockchain technology and AI to provide secure, automated escrow services for crypto traders. Currently in the MVP stage, we are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and help us build a high-performance, scalable system.
This role is equity-based, meaning there are no salaried payments, but successful candidates will receive equity in Fluxel as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the backend infrastructure of the SurePlug platform.
Design and implement secure APIs for integrating the frontend, smart contracts, and AI features.
Optimize the backend for scalability, security, and high performance.
Implement smart contract interactions and ensure seamless integration with blockchain networks.
Work with AI engineers to integrate automated transaction matching and escrow services.
Ensure secure handling of user transactions and data using blockchain technology.
Develop and maintain authentication systems for users, ensuring secure access control.
Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to design and deploy new features.
Maintain database integrity and efficiency, ensuring smooth backend operations.
Required Skills & Experience
Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python, or another relevant language.
Experience with blockchain development, including smart contract interactions (Web3.js, ethers.js).
Strong knowledge of smart contract development (Solidity, Rust, or other blockchain-specific languages).
Experience working with Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or other blockchain platforms.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservices architecture.
Database management skills (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other database systems).
Experience with authentication and security best practices for blockchain-based applications.
Familiarity with cryptographic principles, wallet integrations (e.g., MetaMask), and secure transaction systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Prior experience in fintech, crypto, or DeFi is highly desirable.
