Human Resources Manager in PHILIPPINES

The Viralist Group is a fast-growing agency specializing in influencer management and brand partnerships. We are currently looking for an HR professional to help us build and support our growing team. If you have a people-first mindset, excel at managing hiring processes, and are passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture, this role is for you!

The role requires you to be available between 9 AM - 5 PM PST (Los Angeles time) and is 100% remote. You must have the necessary equipment (laptop/computer and reliable WiFi) to perform your job duties.

Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Hiring

• Screen candidates and conduct initial interviews
• Provide recommendations and coordinate second interviews with hiring managers
• Collaborate with department heads to develop hiring plans
• Manage job postings and source top talents

2. Employee Relations & Performance Management

• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback mechanisms
• Address employee concerns and foster a positive work culture
• Assist in conflict resolution and disciplinary actions

3. Onboarding, Offboarding & HR Administration

• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
• Oversee new hire onboarding, ensuring a seamless integration
• Manage employee termination and offboarding processes
• Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with labor laws
• Implement and update HR policies as needed

4. Payroll, Time Tracking & Benefits

• Assist with payroll processing, commissions, and bonuses
• Handle benefits administration and employee inquiries
• Oversee time-off requests and monitor employee attendance

5. Company Culture & Employee Engagement

• Plan company offsites, retreats, and team-building events
• Coordinate travel arrangements for employees as needed
• Create and send personalized birthday cards for employees
• Keep track of work anniversaries and other milestone events
• Send monthly HR announcements to keep employees informed and engaged

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1-2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a startup, agency or fast-growing company
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Tech-savvy and familiarity with Notion is a plus!
• Experience with HR software and payroll systems
• Experience working in a growing startup and a lean team
• Familiarity with remote work environments and virtual HR practices
