Position Overview:
The Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the brand’s marketing strategy and initiatives in the retail environment. The role involves managing integrated marketing campaigns, promoting the brand's values, and ensuring the delivery of engaging customer experiences both online and in-store. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for retail marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive retail marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and increase sales in-store and online.
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated campaigns, including digital marketing, in-store promotions, events, and seasonal activations.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Customer Engagement & Brand Awareness:
- Create and execute marketing initiatives that drive traffic, loyalty, and engagement with existing and new customers.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints and work closely with design teams to create compelling visual merchandising and promotional materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the e-commerce, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment between online and offline marketing efforts.
- Partner with regional and global teams to share insights, align on broader marketing objectives, and execute unified strategies.
Market Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed of retail trends and customer preferences.
- Use data and customer insights to fine-tune marketing efforts and segment the audience for more personalized communications.
Budget Management & Reporting:
- Manage the retail marketing budget to ensure effective allocation of resources for campaigns, ensuring the highest ROI.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
Event Management & In-Store Promotions:
- Lead in-store event planning and coordination, including product launches, customer events, and seasonal promotions.
- Ensure the successful execution of store-level marketing initiatives and oversee the rollout of promotional materials.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail marketing, with a strong background in campaign management, event coordination, and multi-channel marketing.
- Proven experience in driving customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty within a retail or consumer-focused business.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of retail marketing trends, digital marketing channels, and customer engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (Google Analytics, CRM platforms, social media management, etc.).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Languages: Fluency in both English and German is essential, as the role requires communication with both local and international teams.
