Voip Engineer in INDONESIA

Right now we’re improving the customer experience for first-time users, we’re scaling our telephony systems to handle 100 times our current processing capacity and we’re investing in our infrastructure for improved resilience.

We are looking for a Mid VoIP Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, and debugging new computer software applications to solve complex business problems.

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot PBX-side and cloud VoIP services, including related systems.
• Investigate and resolve system issues by analyzing logs, core dumps, and monitoring data (e.g., PBX, Kibana, backtrace, sip-monitoring).
• Provide timely support for urgent issues escalated by the SRE or Support teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting activities to ensure effective knowledge sharing and service reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and troubleshoot components to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Research and evaluate VoIP market solutions to ensure alignment with company goals and emerging technologies.
• Develop new features and bug fixes for PBX components, including integration with customer solutions and support for new hardware.

• Must
• 2+ years of experience in VoIP engineering or a related field
• Strong experience with VoIP protocols, such as SIP, RTP, and HTTP
• Proficiency with Linux OS
• Advanced expertise in Python
• Familiarity with open-source VoIP projects (e.g., Asterisk, Kamailio, Kazoo2600Hz)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Spoken English at a B2 level or higher
