Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor/Motion Designer to bring our visual content to life. If you have a passion for storytelling, motion graphics, and dynamic video editing, we want to hear from you!

• Edit and assemble high-quality video content tailored to different client needs and platforms.
• Develop engaging motion graphics and animations that enhance storytelling and brand identity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute compelling video projects.
• Optimize video content for multiple formats, including social media, websites, and digital ads.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in video editing, motion design, and digital marketing to create cutting-edge content.
• Manage and organize video assets efficiently for seamless workflow and accessibility.
• Ensure brand consistency across different projects while customizing content to suit individual client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor and/or Motion Designer, preferably within a digital marketing or agency setting.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve/Fusion.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and branding through video and animation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects for different clients.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and creative teams.
• Knowledge of color correction, sound design, and video optimization for digital marketing is an advantage.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing and motion design work.

This role will be a part-time position. You will have the ability to work during the hours that are most comfortable to you, as there will be no required set of hours to be online. With that said, we do expect communication within 24 hours to stay up to date. While weekends and holidays are optional, we allow all of our teammates to work as little or as much as they choose based on how much they want to make or contribute. We expect hours to vary some weeks between 10–20 hours per week.
