Software Engineer (C++ / Emscripten) in UNITED KINGDOM

Contract C++ Engineer (Emscripten) – Cavalry Animation App

Remote – UK Based – Immediate Start – 6-month Contract

We're looking for an experienced engineer to enhance the WebAssembly (WASM) build of our innovative animation software, Cavalry, which enables Cavalry animations to run directly in the browser.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with C++ source code, improving compatibility and performance for web deployment via Emscripten.
• Improve the WASM build’s functionality using JavaScript.
• Manage library dependencies using VCPKG and CMake.
• Refine and expand Python build scripts to streamline the build and deployment process.

Required Skills:

• Good experience with modern C++.
• Proficiency with build systems and dependency management (CMake, VCPKG).
• Python and JavaScript experience.
• Knowledge of Emscripten compilation and deployment processes is a bonus.

Additional Details:

• This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be UK-based.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
