Client Overview:

Vernovis is partnering with a local organization to find a fully remote .NET/C# Developer on a contracting basis. This person will be responsible for WinForms application development, along with C++ project work as well.

What You'll Do:

• Drive technical requirements creation by working with Product Analysts and development team.
• Perform high level analysis of existing system to build a prototype for technology upgrades which can be used to drive full development.
• Brainstorm latest innovations in building, installing, and updating Windows workstation applications.
• Be committed to Behavior Driven Development with quality at the forefront of your focus.
• Create high quality unit, system & acceptance tests by designing test systems and ensuring test data is accurately curated.
• Participate in architectural reviews within the team.

What Experience You'll Have:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Computer Science-related discipline required.
• C++ Controls experience
• Expertise in C# .NET Framework 4 Windows applications with 8+ years coding experience or equivalent, using the latest versions of MS Visual Studio is required.
• Fluency in GIT, Subversion, Jira, Confluence, and design/architecture tools is a must.
• Must have a strong desire to innovate and develop new technology but also must be excited to dig into complicated existing software to identify areas for improvement.
• Proactive in researching issues and working with a distributed team to gain clarification on requirements.

What Experience is Nice to Have:

• ANTLR experience
