What You’ll be Doing

• Act as a strategic partner and advisor to customers, identifying new opportunities for mutual benefit
• Expand market share, boost sales and grow the active customer base, with an emphasis on customer retention.
• Develop and maintain a sales funnel with enough opportunities in all stages to exceed the annual sales growth target.
• Engage with high potential customers to learn about their business, the products they make, and the initiatives they have for improvement.
• Leverage technical product and application knowledge to provide high quality solutions to automation challenges.
• Energetically approach new business and prospecting to develop future growth.
• Work in a team selling environment to leverage expertise across the sales team, develop accounts and win opportunities.

About You

We need a strong sales team member for a tough market. Excited and passionate about this challenge, with a focus on winning new business in the area as well as supporting our existing customer basis. You thrive on finding new opportunities, thinking outside the box, and taking ownership of your success while collaborating with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.

• 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within industrial automation or related.
• Qualifications in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics)
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems (preferred).
• Strong selling aptitude with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in addressing technical challenges for customers.
• Excellent communication skills to engage and influence customers at various levels.
