We're looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our growing team and help drive success for our clients and agency partners.

The Role

As a Senior SEO Specialist at SEO Brothers, you'll manage a portfolio of campaigns, ensuring their success based on partner and client expectations. This senior role goes beyond campaign management to include SEO discoveries, proposal development, and strategic special projects. Your expertise and strategic thinking will directly impact our clients' search visibility and business growth.

Core Responsibilities

Campaign Portfolio Management: Ensure the success of your managed portfolio of SEO campaigns based on partner and client expectations, campaign mandates, and budgets.

SEO Discovery & Proposal Writing: Conduct SEO audits and discoveries, then craft compelling proposals based on findings.

Strategic Collaboration: Proactively work with campaign managers to align on campaign mandates, progress, and constraints, and recommend adjustments as needed.

Client Onboarding: Support the transition of new clients into established campaign workflows.

Documentation Management: Maintain campaign-specific documentation to support work required for campaign success.

Special Projects: Handle ad-hoc projects that leverage your senior-level SEO expertise.

What Success Looks Like

• Reducing campaign churn through effective documentation and maintenance of campaign mandates, priorities, and success metrics

• Implementing strong time management practices to fulfill monthly contractual obligations

• Making data-driven decisions, including competitive reviews, to guide strategic next steps

• Following campaign-specific implementation protocols that meet partner and client expectations

• Communicating campaign insights, constraints, progress, and completed work effectively to campaign managers

• Delegating tasks when necessary while maintaining ownership of execution quality

Required Skills & Experience

3 - 5 years of SEO experience in an agency environment

Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to:

• Articulate complex SEO concepts simply
• Create clear documentation and instructions (including via Loom)
• Write persuasive, detailed proposals for prospective clients
• Translate feedback into actionable tasks
• Ask direct questions to gain clarity without assuming
• Explain SEO strategies in accessible language

Deep SEO knowledge

Strong understanding of technical SEO, link building, on-page optimization, content strategy, and local SEO. With the ability to effectively review, analyze, and communicate success through data and reporting.

Tool proficiency, including an excellent knowledge of:

• Ahrefs
• Sitebulb
• LocalFalcon
• Agency Analytics
• ClickUp
• Google Sheets

Empathy

The ability to understand and relate to partner and client perspectives on campaign success.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with BigQuery and Looker Studio
• Familiarity with no/low-code platforms (Zapier, Make)
• Project management experience
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior SEOs
