About the Role 

As a Sales Director at Symplast, you will play a key leadership role in driving revenue growth by overseeing sales enablement, strategy execution, and high-performance sales team development. You will be responsible for optimizing sales processes, improving sales effectiveness, and ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams. 


Success in this role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of consultative sales methodologies, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for coaching teams to achieve outstanding results. You will implement sales enablement programs, refine go-to-market strategies, and enhance sales efficiency to drive sustained business growth. 


Key Responsibilities 


Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth 


  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. 
  • Drive sales performance by optimizing pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and opportunity conversion rates. 
  • Identify new market opportunities and sales channels to expand business reach and increase penetration in key customer segments. 


Sales Enablement & Process Optimization 


  • Implement and oversee sales enablement programs, including training, content development, and sales tool optimization to improve team efficiency. 
  • Standardize and streamline sales processes to maximize productivity and enhance customer engagement. 
  • Evaluate and enhance the sales playbook, ensuring the team has the resources and insights needed to drive success. 


Leadership & Team Development 


  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives, fostering a high-performance sales culture. 
  • Provide hands-on coaching and professional development to enhance sales skills, objection handling, and consultative selling techniques. 
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and a seamless customer journey. 


Customer & Market Insights 

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive positioning to refine sales tactics and strategic initiatives. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging customer insights to shape product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. 
  • Advocate for customers by providing feedback to product and leadership teams to enhance Symplast’s offerings. 


Technology & Reporting 


  • Oversee CRM utilization (Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure accurate sales tracking, reporting, and forecasting. 
  • Monitor key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. 
  • Ensure compliance with corporate sales policies and ethical standards. 


Qualifications & Experience 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams. 
  • Proven track record in sales enablement, driving process improvements and increasing sales efficiency. 
  • Strong understanding of SaaS, medical aesthetics, or healthcare technology industries preferred. 
  • Exceptional ability to coach and develop sales teams with consultative sales methodologies. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally to align sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives. 
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms. 
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
