Salary:
- up to 18 000 PLN gross/month (contract of employment)
- up to 1200 PLN net + VAT/MD (B2B) depending on your professional experience
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer who is passionate about solving real customers problems and thrives in an cross-functional environment. If you have a product mindset, strong technical skills and drive to deliver value, this role is for you. We foster a culture that values open communication and feedback, encouraging individuals who are proactive and eager to drive continuous improvement. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in building high-quality, scalable and easily extensible software to support the rapid expansion of our Automated Parcel Machines network across multiple markets. You’ll be working on critical asset management applications, including modules for servicing, warehousing, deployments and beyond. This application is being built from the ground up using a new technology stack.
Your Responsibilities:
- Designing architecture in collaboration.
- Building, testing, and maintaining high-performance microservices in Spring Boot
- Advocate for an engineering culture of quality, good development principles, and innovation within the team.
- Have a design-first approach to building software. Maintain quality and up to date documentation of the systems you own.
- Collaborate with peers in other engineering teams.
- Working in cross-functional team to deliver core, platform functionalities
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar position and in working in agile methodologies.
- Deep understanding of technology as well as market trends and standards in software development.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems design and implementation, especially microservices.
- A high degree of understanding of the need to automate the software delivery process and practical experience of CI/CD tools and practics.
- Hands-on experience of developing cloud-native applications will be highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with Mobile App products will be an asset!
- English language skills at professional level (minimum B2+)
Technical Skills:
- Languages and frameworks: Java, Groovy, Spring, Spock
- Database: PostgreSQL, JDBC, JPA (Hibernate), jOOQ, Liquibase
- Tools: Maven, Kafka, Dynatrace, ELK, Grafana, Keycloak
- Architecture: Microservices, Asynchronous processing, Hexagonal, DDD, Distributed Systems
Methodologies: Agile, BDD, OOP, Refactoring
