Position: Business Analyst 3 (Data Governance)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - 4 days remote, 1 day onsite)
Duration: 05/01/2025 - 08/29/2025 (with potential renewal)
Description of Services
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst III to support the planning and implementation of data governance tools. The selected candidate will be responsible for data collection, identifying data assets, and implementing metadata management and data governance processes. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional groups to ensure efficient data management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business systems and processes to establish metadata management.
- Support data collection and documentation of data assets.
- Work with enterprise data analytics, integration, and governance technologies.
- Utilize Informatica Data Governance tools (Axon Data Governance, Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Quality).
- Work with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Design and implement data acquisition strategies.
- Create process flows and data flow diagrams.
- Facilitate design meetings, metadata modeling discussions, and stakeholder reporting.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Summarize and present data findings to leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst (Technical).
- 8 years of experience with enterprise data analytics, integration, and management.
- 5 years of experience analyzing raw data using Excel or Business Intelligence tools.
- 3 years of experience designing and implementing data acquisition strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Hours & Location
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, excluding state holidays.
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days remote, 1 day onsite (Tuesdays) in Austin, TX.
- Occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work may be required.

- Candidates must be local to Austin, TX. Relocation plans are not accepted.
- Travel, per diem, parking, and living expenses are not covered.
