Rust Software Engineer (Solana) in EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

About the Role

You will develop high-performance Solana programs and build data indexing and analysis infrastructure for security applications. This fully remote role requires deep experience in Rust, Solana smart contract development, and onchain security.

What you'll do:

• Conduct pioneering security research in Solana and Rust-based blockchains
• Create security tooling and developer workflows to facilitate early vulnerability detection
• Design and optimise Solana programs using Rust and Anchor
• Develop high-performance, secure onchain protocols for blockchain security and fraud detection
• Support transaction monitoring and risk analysis tool development to enhance DeFi security
• Collaborate with backend and security engineers to integrate Solana programs into their cross-chain security ecosystem
• Implement Solana-specific security best practices to mitigate smart contract vulnerabilities
• Optimise onchain logic for low latency and gas-efficient execution
• Stay current with latest Solana updates, vulnerabilities, and performance enhancements

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years of Rust development experience
• 1+ year building Solana programs with the Anchor framework.
• Strong knowledge of Solana runtime, accounts model, and execution framework
• Experience with Solana RPCs and off-chain indexing
• Familiarity with blockchain security risks (reentrancy, integer overflow, rent exemption, etc.)
• Ability to write gas-efficient, secure, well-tested Solana programs
• Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
• English language proficiency
• Experience integrating with Solana DeFi protocols is a plus
