We are seeking a Remote Front Desk Admin Manager who brings strong medical scribing experience, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for supporting providers behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities


Primary Duties:

  • Act as a medical scribe during virtual consultations, documenting patient-provider interactions in real time using NextGen EHR.
  • Draft clinical notes, update charts, and manage follow-up documentation.
  • Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow-ups, and care coordination.
  • Provide administrative support to the provider to ensure smooth daily clinical operations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation.


Administrative & System Support:

  • Process claims, verify insurance, and provide billing support.
  • Manage referrals, authorizations, and patient audits.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling, reminders, and patient follow-ups.
  • Maintain internal records, spreadsheets, and operational documentation.
  • Help create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and staff handbooks.
  • Support onboarding and training for new front desk/admin staff.
  • Be available in a virtual video room (Zoom or Google Meet) throughout your shift for real-time support and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year experience in a healthcare administrative or scribe role.
  • Proficiency in NextGen EHR or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
  • Proven ability to document clinical interactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with precision.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams is a plus.
Technical & Availability Requirements
  • Must be present in a virtual video room during the entire shift.
  • Device: Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • Internet: High-speed (minimum 10 Mbps).
  • Audio: Noise-canceling headset.
  • Video: Webcam required for meetings and virtual presence.
  • Workspace: Quiet, professional home office setup.
  • Must be available for scheduled meetings with the camera on and remain responsive during work hours.
