Project Description:
For our client in the capital markets industry, we are building an agile team to engage in the development of a centralised.
Our technology stack contains Python, SQL, C#/.Net, Messaging (IBM MQ), and reporting (Jasper report + Python based report) and we have processes running on both on-prem and in AWS. We have over 30+ AWS services in use (related to Compute, Storage, Database, Code Pipeline, Authentication and Authorization, Notifications etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on development using Python, SQL
- Work with other in-house application development teams responsible eg. for payment process, collateral, accounting, and regulatory reporting processes in the bank
- Continuous improvement of the development and release environment, tooling, and processes
Mandatory Skills Description:
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on development using Python and SQL
- Very strong experience and knowledge in SQL
- Good understanding of computer fundamentals - OOPs concepts, basic data structures, algorithms, relational algebra, basic understanding of networking, cloud computing etc.
- Knowledge of finance - experience with trade flows, trade process
- At least basic experience and understating of Messaging concept
- Good problem-solving skills
- Experience with working in Agile/Scrum projects
- Experience working with a global team, good communication and transpersonal skills
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- Experience with Jasper
- C# knowledge
- AWS experience
