This part-time role (20 hours per week) is ideal if you’re studying or have other responsibilities like parenting.


About the Role

We’re looking for an ambitious Graphic Designer to join our growing team. You’ll work with the broader team to take concepts and briefs and turn them into breathtaking visuals and marketing deliverables for our clients. You’ll have the opportunity to develop brand identities, create social media assets, ebooks, and infographics, and even show off your video and audio-cutting skills.

This exciting role is for you if you want to work in a startup environment, learn the all-hands-on-deck approach, and shape the growth of a company from the ground up.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Take concepts and briefs and turn them into graphics/visuals for different channels (like social media, emails, websites) based on brand guidelines and additional directions
  • Manage stock photography use
  • Edit, stitch, and cut video and audio footage
  • Present ideas and brainstorm with marketing strategists
  • Work with the team to turn briefs into impactful deliverables


To Be Successful, You’ll Need

  • Solid understanding of composition, layout, typography, and design
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
  • Experience in Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro is essential
  • Experience in After Effects and Figma is desirable but not required
  • Used to working remotely and with online tools like Google Workspace, Slack, etc
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • To be a resourceful self-starter and be accountable for your actions
  • Drive to learn and improve based on mentorship and constructive criticism
  • Creativity and ideas - the lifeblood of Rodeo13
  • Have excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, as it is the primary language used by our team and clients


This is an indefinite, independent freelance/contract position.

You will need to be able to provide a valid tax invoice for your services on a monthly basis.
