Information Security Manager– CAYMAN ISLANDS! $US Tax Free

The Information Security Manager is responsible for safeguarding information systems, managing cybersecurity risks, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role will lead the development of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and framework, oversee security technologies and implement policies to mitigate threats.


Key Responsibilities:


Cybersecurity Strategy & Leadership

· Develop and implement a holistic cybersecurity strategy

· Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership

· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing information security team

· Guide the design and implementation of secure IT architectures

· Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget


Risk Management & Compliance

· Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks, developing mitigation strategies to enhance

organizational resilience.

· Conduct and oversee security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing

· Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NERC CIP).

· Develop comprehensive incident response plans, ensuring rapid detection, containment and recovery from security incidents.


Business Partnership & Security Awareness

· Work cross-functionally to integrate security best practices into business operations.

· Drive cybersecurity awareness and training to strengthen security culture

· Manage third-party vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with security standards.


Requirements:


Education & Certifications

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.

· CISSP and CCSP certification.

· Additional relevant certifications include: GIAC GSP, CISM, CCIE, CEH, CCNP, CISA, GISP, GCFA, GCED, GSEC, GSNA.


Technical Expertise

· 10+ years’ experience leading and managing the cybersecurity function within large-scale

enterprises

· Extensive experience developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies in alignment with

industry frameworks

· Extensive experience designing and implementing cybersecurity architectures, including secure

network and system design, encryption, access control models, secure SDLCs and securing

cloud environments

· Experience with firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, and vulnerability management tools.

· Knowledge of penetration testing techniques, ethical hacking, and cyber threat intelligence.

· Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) security principles.

· Proficiency with Windows Server security architecture and administration

· Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware

· Multi-platform experience
