Job description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst with a strong focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting to join our team at Vaisala headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. This position is temporary and planned to start in April and end in August 2025. There is a possibility to extend the contract beyond August 2025. This position is hybrid, the expectation would be to work at least half of your time in the Vaisala office in Vantaa.

What's your role?
In this role, you will support our data analytics team by designing, developing, and maintaining SAC reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in data analytics with hands-on experience in cloud-based BI and reporting solutions.
- Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Work with data sources to connect and structure data for efficient reporting and visualization.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and translate reporting requirements into SAC-based reports.
- Perform fundamental data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide guidance and support to end-users on utilizing SAC reports and maintain documentation for analytics processes.
- Follow SAC reporting best practices to enhance system performance and maintain report consistency.
- Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and IT teams to support data-driven decision-making.
What will you bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and data visualization.
- Basic understanding of SAP S/4HANA and data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data extraction.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with data manipulation and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy in reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work or internship experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or similar tool for reporting and data visualization.
- Experience in business intelligence, financial analysis, or related fields.
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python) for advanced data analysis is a plus.
