Embedded Software Engineer (Relocation to Lithuania) in ROMANIA

Strategic Staffing Solutions International's client is a multinational leader in electronic manufacturing, producing a wide range of circuit protection products, electronic switches, and automotive sensors.

As the company expands its R&D Electronics & Embedded Software teams, they are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join them in Lithuania.

In this role, you will apply best practices while working with advanced technologies and processes to develop innovative automotive sensor products. You will have the autonomy to plan your work independently and contribute to both technical and team management solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate on new projects with international teams, developing valuable products for globally recognized brands.

What you will do:

• Develop and implement embedded software solutions for automotive sensors, managing software changes.
• Process new product requirements and create software specifications.
• Ensure software development meets quality standards and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for software design, implementation, and testing.
• Apply best coding practices, tools, and methodologies while fostering an Agile environment.

What you will need:

• Experience in product creation and development within an Agile project environment
• Proficiency in C programming and experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, Atmel, Microchip)
• Ability to read hardware schematics and work with electronics laboratory equipment
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with a team-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in technical English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE), TS/ISO 16949, and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) is a plus
• A growth mindset, a "can-do" attitude, and a willingness to learn new design patterns
