Head of Architecture in PHILIPPINES

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Vision: Develop and execute the strategic vision for digital channel platform engineering, aligning it with overall business objectives.
• Innovation Leadership: Drive innovations and improvements across digital channels to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and high performance.
• Talent Development: Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development to build a skilled and motivated team.
• Platform Management: Direct the design, development, and maintenance of robust digital channel platforms, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
• Technology Assessment: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, assessing their applicability to enhance digital platforms.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Java, ReactJS, and React Native. Good understanding of CI/CD, microservices, cloud (AWS), and Kubernetes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, UX/UI, and other teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Best Practices Implementation: Enforce best practices for software engineering, quality assurance, and continuous integration to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in digital platform engineering, focusing on digital channels and customer-facing solutions.
• Previous experience in a leadership role, demonstrating strategic thinking and team management.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, frameworks, and cloud services.
• Familiarity with digital channel technologies, such as mobile applications, web platforms, and emerging trends.
• Hands-on expertise in Java, ReactJS, and React Native.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to think strategically and align technical solutions with broader business goals.
• Relevant certifications in technology or leadership are a plus.
