Are you an experienced Data Engineer with a passion for developing scalable data solutions? We are launching an advanced AI assistant service designed for NVM members. Join our AI Assistant team and help shape the future of AI in real estate through innovation, collaboration, and the latest technology.

Your Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data architectures to ensure seamless and secure data access for AI applications. You will play a key role in building reliable data pipelines, collaborating with LLM engineers, and transforming innovative prototypes into functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable data architectures for LLM use cases.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines from various sources to a vector database in AWS.
• Implement role-based access control and data masking.
• Monitor and optimize data processes using dashboards, logging, and incident management.
• Present findings to stakeholders and contribute to the AI assistant’s development.
• Work in an Agile environment to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and cloud environments (preferably AWS).
• Fluency in Dutch (both spoken and written).
• Experience with structured and unstructured databases.
• Knowledge of vector databases, semantic search, and data orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience in designing complex data architectures, integrating diverse data types, and implementing governance frameworks.

Preferred but not required:

• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Knowledge or experience in the real estate sector (NVM Wonen).
• Residency in the Netherlands at the time of application.
