Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high-scale Laravel-based API that powers a VueJS frontend.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, QA, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimise performance and ensure the scalability of applications to handle a growing number of transactions.
• Ensure seamless feature rollouts, architecting updates that minimise downtime and prevent user disruptions.
• Implement best practices for high availability and security in a fast-paced environment.
• Debug and resolve critical issues quickly, ensuring smooth platform operations.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and decision-making.

Tech Stack & Tools

• Backend: PHP 8+ (Laravel 10+), MySQL, Redis
• Architecture: Microservices, WebSockets
• Testing & Development: PHPUnit, Docker
• Collaboration & Deployment: Jira, Git (GitLab)
• Bonus Skills: Node.js experience is highly desirable
