Software Engineer (Backend) in NIGERIA

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and architect highly—performance blockchain infrastructure solutions
• Develop components using Go Lang and TypeScript to support Infrastructure needs.
• Collaboration and Mentorship - Collaboration is integral to our team, and you'll be working closely with other engineers, designers, and colleagues, fostering shared knowledge and mutual assistance.
• Design and develop new features - You'll have a key role in both conceptualizing and implementing novel features.
• Scalability and Performance optimisation: Continuously optimize blockchain infrastructure for scalability, performance, efficiency, and addressing challenges.
• Engage in code reviews - We uphold a culture of open and frequent feedback, and you will play an active part in this through code review processes.
• Perform other tasks as required - You will carry out any additional duties and responsibilities as needed, ensuring our operations run smoothly.

Our Ideal Candidate should have the following:

• Proficiency in Golang and Typescript
• Experience in building infrastructure products, ideally within the Web3 ecosystem
• You have basic knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Digital Ocean.
• You have the ability to write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• You are proficient in the practices of CI/CD.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You're capable of taking initiative and working independently.

Nice to Have Experience:

• Familiarity with blockchain technology and its application in web applications
• Experience working in a startup environment , particularly in the Web3 infrastructure sector
