We are looking for a Mid - Senior JAVA Developer (m/f/d) in Osijek to join our existing team which is expanding due to increase of the scope of work with a very certain future expansion. #Eviden
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will work on Mission-Critical telco-grade application development projects for various industries
Proven excellent knowledge of Java or another object-oriented programming language
Experience in programming for Linux based platforms, containerization, principles of working with message brokers, knowledge of virtualization, devops principles, standard DB ORM tools, enterprise/telco-grade implementation
Experience in programming applications for communication (server/client based) according to performance and resilience-oriented postulates is required
Work includes development of backend service components for applications that serve real-time communication, geo-positioning and tracking, as well as the administration of various components, typically on top of bases in (at least) three-layer architecture
Work is done in an agile international environment with a team of people mostly located in Croatia with standard Devops tools and Git
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
5+ years of relevant work experience with software development in Java
Experience with Linux, Kubernetes/Docker, Kafka/RMQ, VMware/proxmox/kvm, Network communication and distributed architecture techology stacks, ORM frameworks, SQL/CQL/noSQL, HTTPS/WebSockets, Postman and other testing frameworks, Secure protocols, Git, Devops
Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
English min. level B2, Croatian native, German or French is a plus
