As a Data Engineer, you will be at the core of scaling and optimizing our data infrastructure, enhancing real-time and batch processing workflows, and designing resilient architectures that support analytics, experimentation, and AI-driven data products across the company.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Infrastructure Scaling: Optimizing cost, performance, scalability, and reliability of the data ecosystem.
- Data Strategy Alignment: Working closely with the Data Strategy team to ensure smooth evolution of data models.
- ETL & Data Processing: Designing and optimizing ETL pipelines, integrating diverse data sources.
- Data Platform Owner: Managing multi-terabyte data lake/warehouse, and a mature but evolving Data Platform.
- Technical Guidance: Helping data scientists optimize their pipelines while minimizing inefficiencies.
- Data Quality Management: Selecting and implementing tools or processes for data validation and governance.
What You Need To Succeed
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong coding skills in SQL, Python, and/or other programming languages used for data processing.
- Experience with high-volume data ingestion and processing (i.e: CDC). Previous experience using 3rd party data ingestion tools is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with data transformation frameworks and ETL orchestration tools
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset for innovation and improvement.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with data analysts, scientists, and software engineers.
- Solid understanding of cloud-based data ecosystems.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills (English C1 level or above).
Nice To Have
- Experience with real-time data infrastructure.
- Experience scaling data infrastructure in fast-growing startups.
- Hands-on experience with DBT, Airbyte, Databricks and Airflow.
- Knowledge of event taxonomy standardization and KPI definition across medium-to-large organizations.
- Experience working with AWS or Google Cloud data ecosystems.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, Jenkins, etc.).
