PHP Developer in PORTUGAL

Summary

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our scrum team and work on an internationally used loan administration platform built in PHP (Laravel).

You will develop, maintain, and test our financial management platform while integrating APIs, working with React.js, and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our loan administration platform using PHP (Laravel).
• Work on API integrations, UI components, and backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Implement and maintain Node.js services.
• Ensure platform reliability through unit/integration testing (PHPUnit) and monitoring.

Requirements

• Strong experience in object-oriented PHP with Laravel or Symfony.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Fluent in English (international team communication).

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of Docker, Node.js, React, CSS, HTML.
• Experience in Banking/Fintech or financial mathematics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana).
• Experience with Loan Management tools (e.g., nCino, LendingPad).
