The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in Platform Engineering, cloud platforms, and Typescript for designing, developing, and maintaining internal developer platforms. A strong adherence to security best practices is essential, along with the ability to address security issues effectively. The candidate should independently manage and resolve moderately complex issues, while also being capable of tackling large issues with clear requirements and articulate trade-offs to stakeholders. They will be able to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and collaborate with team members when dealing with undefined challenges.

• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable cloud-based platforms using Platform Engineering concepts and adhering to security best practices.
• Tackle large-scale issues with clear requirements and design the implementation, seeking team assistance when needed.
• Write robust, well-structured code with automated tests to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
• Work independently, taking ownership of outcomes and seeking advice when necessary and collaborating with team members to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Proactively solve problems, support decisions, and share knowledge and best practices.
• Maintain a high level of technical expertise and stay current with industry trends.

• Solid understanding of Platform Engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong experience with Typescript and React.
• Adheres to security best practices in the cloud, taking on security-related issues, developing effective approaches, and delivering working solutions.
• Tackles large issues with clear requirements and design implementation with minimal effort; seeks team assistance for issues that are not clearly defined.
• Robust coding practices, well structure code and automated tests.
• Resolves moderately complex performance issues independently.
• Knowledge of DevOps best practices and Continuous Delivery principles.
• Able to understand trade-offs and articulate them to others
• Taking personal ownership to achieve outcomes aligned with business priorities, proactively solving problems, supporting decisions, and sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Emphasize clear and honest communication, effective collaboration across teams, engaging and influencing others for optimal outcomes, constructively resolving conflicts, and actively providing, seeking, and acting on feedback.
