About The Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support strategic decision-making through in-depth analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders to drive data-backed insights and develop reporting mechanisms that support our business strategies. This is a 100% remote position offering flexibility while providing an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our business operations and success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to perform analysis that supports key strategic decision-making across various business functions.
- Develop reporting capabilities for key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, inventory, and profitability.
- Conduct diagnostic analysis to identify the root causes of issues such as sales misses, inventory discrepancies, and overages.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support brand teams and sales initiatives, ensuring data-driven decisions.
- Implement and maintain reporting and tracking mechanisms across inventory, profitability, and supply reporting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in structuring complex analysis and producing actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Continuously refine reporting processes to ensure they align with business goals and inform decision-making.
Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and chart creation.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for creating dashboards, visualizations, and detailed reports.
- Strong communication skills, capable of clearly presenting complex analysis findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver actionable insights from data that drive business decisions.
- Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
Nice-to-Have
- Preferred knowledge of SQL or database querying techniques for advanced analysis.
- Experience in e-commerce or financial analysis is a plus, particularly within the retail or supply chain sectors.
