About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Director to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence, drive demand, and accelerate revenue growth. Additionally, you will help create, position, and tell our brand story across all channels, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative that resonates with our target audience.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns using an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approach to promote our products and services.
- Digital Marketing Oversight: Oversee digital channels—including SEO, content marketing, social media, and paid advertising—to optimize performance.
- Event & Stakeholder Engagement: Plan, support, and occasionally represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Brand Management: Maintain and strengthen the company’s brand identity and narrative, ensuring consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Budget Management: Allocate and manage the marketing budget to maximize return on investment.
- Team Leadership*: This role will start as an IC role with no reports for the first six months. However, assuming the aptitude and appetite to do so are both there, there is a strong possibility of taking on 2-6 reports following the initial six months.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in marketing roles, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment with a demonstrated ABM approach.
- Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and emerging marketing technologies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively present to senior leadership.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making and optimize campaigns.
- Innovation: A creative and proactive mindset committed to continuous improvement and adaptation to industry trends.
Compensation
The base salary for this role is $120,000 CAD annually, plus participation in a profit-share program and quarterly performance bonus.
