We’re now hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join our team to further develop our platform and help us accelerate our growth.

The Role

As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll help drive the future of our web-based bioprocess optimisation platform, building an easy-to-use, responsive platform for biomanufacturing innovators. This includes:

• Contributing to key architectural decisions about our web design and implementation
• Conveying a highly complex, technical process through an intuitive, responsive UI
• Designing new features and functionality, and refining existing flows based on user feedback
• Transforming complex scientific and engineering data into simple, intuitive, and highly usable interfaces
• Scaling our web platform to support a wider range of customers and use-cases

We’re an early-stage startup, which means we move fast and cover many different areas. This is a great opportunity to pick up new skills and develop fast, to own and take responsibility for new features, have a meaningful impact on our product and direction, and grow with the company. We don’t assume you’ll know all of the frameworks and tools we use (although it’s definitely a bonus if you do), but hope you’ll be excited by the prospect of picking them up and learning as you go!

Job requirements

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years experience with building responsive apps in modern JS web frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js)
• Experience developing and running web-apps on the cloud (familiarity with Azure is a bonus, but not required)
• Are passionate about UX and responsive designs
• Desire to learn about bioprocesses, especially in the alt protein/food space

• A degree or other professional experience in Bioprocessing, Chemical Engineering or similar
• Experience with working on complex domain-specific software products
• A portfolio of previous work that you can share
• Python and data science interest or experience
• Experience with Vue/NuxtJS, OAuth 2.0 authentication
