Job Summary:


Office is located in New York City (no relocation assistance available).

This is a hybrid role and requires client visits and team collaboration as needed (not 100% remote).


Reporting to one of the Founders/Chief Strategy Officer, this role focuses on developing advertising communication strategies for a Fortune 500 banking client. As the Engagement Manager, you will be a key integrator at the firm and lead collaborative teams across creative, technology, and account management by engaging with a dedicated team passionate about leveraging artificial intelligence to redefine marketing and advertising. This role involves harnessing this enthusiasm to ensure our AI-driven insights and strategies are fully integrated into creative concepts and technological solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. The Engagement Manager will provide leadership on large client engagements as part of our integrated strategy and account management department.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive the strategy and planning process using Supernatural AI’s unique platform to glean insights that are not readily available through conventional means. This involves deep analysis and interpretation of audience data to provide actionable intelligence.
  • Oversee the teams developing in-depth competitive research and analysis to understand market dynamics, competitor strategies, and positioning.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies that position our clients effectively with their target audiences. This includes identifying opportunities for differentiation, targeting strategies and messaging frameworks that resonate with the audience to drive engagement and results.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by understanding the Intersection between Marketing and AI. This includes staying current on AI advancements, analyzing how these innovations can enhance targeting, personalization, content creation, and analytics, and integrating these insights into strategic planning.
  • Produce thought leadership for the client and the agency. Position yourself and the agency as thought leaders by sharing insights, analyses, and forecasts on the confluence of marketing and AI. This could involve publishing white papers, hosting webinars, or speaking at industry events.
  • Provide input on the next version of our proprietary tool and play an integral role in the continuous enhancement of our platform by offering informed insights into new features, capabilities, and improvements. This input should be based on your strategic vision, industry trends, client feedback, and your team's experience with the current tool.
  • Mentor incredibly talented colleagues. From one-on-one coaching to working closely with the team, we’ll be relying on you to help our junior team with skill development, provide opportunities for them to develop their own leadership capabilities, and generally support their professional development.


Requirements:


  • Requires 5+ years of current or past experience in a management consulting or professional services firm with strong client management skills, including building and maintaining relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering impactful strategies. CxO relationship management required.
  • Proven success integrating insights, creative concepts, and technological solutions across diverse teams, including creative, technology, and account management.
  • Success leading strategic planning initiatives with the ability to develop and lead the strategic planning process, including deep analysis of audience data and interpretation of insights using AI tools.
  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and translating data into actionable strategies. Experience with AI platforms and interpreting their insights is preferred.
  • Background in conducting research and assessing market dynamics, including competitor strategies and positioning, to inform the development of effective positioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Recent examples of developing thought leadership content and positioning
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members, providing coaching, and fostering leadership skills in others.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying complex strategies and insights effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Success managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of strategic engagements
  • Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, insists on high-standards and results-oriented with a record of building relationships with decision makers.
  • Financial services experience is a plus.
  • BA/BS from an accredited university

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. The budgeted compensation range for this role is base salary $180,000 to $220,000. For those in eligible roles, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions. We also offer a range of benefits and programs to meet employee needs, based on eligibility.
