We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Mons, Belgium.


Eligibility: Only EU Citizens will be considered.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 support for a dedicated cybersecurity helpdesk, overseeing multi-channel support (phone, email, chat) while maintaining a knowledge base and creating performance/security incident reports.
  • Monitor and analyze security events in real-time, manage Secure Management Centre (SMC) operations, and conduct regular audits of security policies and procedures.
  • Investigate, respond, and recover from cybersecurity incidents, ensuring critical alerts are addressed within agreed service levels.
  • Monitor crypto devices, networks, websites, and email traffic, detecting unauthorized changes, malicious code, or breach of compliance with NATO’s security standards.
  • Compile and disseminate cybersecurity documents such as Cybersecurity Daily News and Incident Reports.
  • Execute trend analysis for cybersecurity incidents and recommend preventative measures and process improvements.


Required Qualifications

  • Certifications: One or more of the following – CCNA, ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management, TCE 621 and/or TCE 671 Operator Courses (THALES Norway), Red Hat/Linux Professional certifications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in cryptography, public-key infrastructure, and crypto systems; strong knowledge of Internet Protocol-based networks, router configuration, and risk analysis.
  • Experience: Extensive background in information security implementation, computer security, and troubleshooting at the system, network, and application levels. Prior experience in CRYPTO operations, NATO standards, and international multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Additional Requirements: Expertise in computer security policy development and system evaluation/accreditation. Knowledge of NATO structure and operations is advantageous.

  • Helpdesk Availability: 99.9%, responding to incidents within 5-10 minutes for critical alerts.
  • Event Triage/Analysis: Completed within 15 minutes of detection.
  • Incident Containment: Resolution within 4 hours for critical cases.
  • Patch Deployment: Completed within 24 hours upon release.
