What You'll Do
- You play an active role in the global KNAUF IT transformation with inspiring and developing a global IT team and take accountability to deliver and operate all IT products of our Quotation, Pricing & Sales area
- You understand the needs of our business stakeholders and collaborate closely with diverse departments and validate business requirements accordingly
- You develop, update, and prioritize the product area vision and roadmap, which includes shaping and managing all involved IT products to deliver and operate state of the art IT solutions
- You strategically manage the respective IT budget, driving cost efficiencies and optimal resource allocation
- You ensure the seamless operations of our IT products, including the support, enhancement and decommissioning of legacy applications and manage dependencies between the individual products - expected to encompass delivery, resource and financial responsibilities
Who You Are
- You gain multi-year experience in leading global IT teams (20-40 members), providing clear direction, and fostering professional growth and holding a master degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Motivated by change and transformation, seeing it as an avenue for continuous learning and development
- You are able to navigate complex challenges and resolve conflicts within a multicultural environment and between IT and business
- You successfully led multiple complex IT projects and programs in multinational organizations using classic or agile delivery frameworks and are skilled in both cloud and non-cloud technologies with focus on Commercial Solutions, ideally including Salesforce and SAP
- Acting as an excellent communicator and collaborator in English and German
