Our client is part of a leading Management Consultancy firm that specializes in driving digital transformation within the fintech industry and has around 1000 employees across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and Taiwan. They have recently established an office in Cyprus dedicated to advancing technological solutions for crypto and CFD brokers.
You will work on a high-profile project for a top global FOREX broker, focusing on risk management and antifraud measures in trading.
Responsibilities:
Assume leadership of the development process, providing guidance to the team
Assistance with project architecture
Control and coordinate all aspects of the development lifecycle, from project initiation to delivery and maintenance
Define and enforce development standards, best practices and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
Collaborate with Product Managers, Business System Analysts and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements and timelines
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel and technology, to ensure successful project execution
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues and take proactive measures to mitigate them
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project milestones, deliverables and dependencies
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement within the development team
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate
We are happy to hear from you if you have:
Proven experience in software development, with a minimum of 6 years in a leadership role
In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
Experience with Agile, Scrum or other development frameworks
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in project architecture
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, stakeholders and clients
Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Willingness to work in an office in Cyprus
