HW Electronics Engineer (Avionics)


Sidereus Space Dynamics is at the forefront of revolutionizing space access through its pioneering reusable single-stage launch vehicles, tailored for ultra-responsive orbital access.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced electronic systems, ensuring high performance and reliability for various applications.
  • Create detailed PCB layouts, focusing on signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management.
  • Develop and implement firmware for microcontrollers and other embedded systems to control electronic devices.
  • Conduct simulations and analysis to validate electronic designs and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic components with mechanical and software systems.
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation of electronic circuits and PCBs, including EMC testing and compliance.
  • Work on the design and implementation of high-speed and high-frequency circuits, applying the latest industry standards.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of design processes, incorporating feedback and best practices to enhance product quality.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Strong foundation in electronic circuit design and PCB layout principles.
  • Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
  • Experience with embedded systems programming using C/C++.
  • Experience with SPICE simulation software
  • Knowledge of analog and digital signal processing techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for PCB design and manufacturing.


Preferred Skills:

  • Proven expertise in designing complex multilayer PCBs for high-speed applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with FPGA programming and VHDL/Verilog.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • A passion for electronics and a continuous drive to learn and apply new technologies.


Salary And Benefits:

For this role, we offer a starting salary ranging from €30,000 and €55,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience. Our benefits package includes:
