Product Manager (f/m/x) Automation
Your responsibilities
As a
Product Manager focusing on
Haemostasis automation solutions and the
Blood Science Island, you will manage these products throughout their lifecycle. This includes initial requirements, testing, release management, and comprehensive product documentation. You will also provide second-level support to affiliates and distributors across the EMEA region and act as bridge to SCORP for 3rd level escalation. While the product management for analytical components remains within the respective Business Line, this role primarily focuses on the automation aspect of the solution, encompassing both hardware components and the associated software.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Ensure the Product Lifecycle (PLC) is followed for the CN track, Blood Science Island, and related components, aligning with market needs and company goals.
- Market Needs Translation: Translate market needs into product requirements, ensuring alignment with the post-market surveillance process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business lines and marketing teams on the conceptual design and execution of international product launches.
- Training Programs: Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Innovation and Collaboration: Drive innovation through strong communication with internal stakeholders and external R&D partners.
- Support and Configuration: Assist affiliates and distributors with automation solution configurations, validation of setups, and service request handling to ensure optimal workflow integration for customers.
You Will Deal With Questions Like
- What are the customer needs and requirements related to the automation solutions under my responsibility?
- How can these needs be translated into clear product development requirements?
- What is the best way to interact with SCORP to ensure requirements are implemented in the product roadmap?
- How should internal processes be managed and coordinated when stakeholders from other departments must actively contribute without direct managerial responsibility?
- What is the best way to cooperate with colleagues from other departments to ensure alignment and maximize customer value?
Your profile
- Experience in product management or IVD Laboratory background in Haemostasis and Haematology
- Good understanding of automation technology and components
- Strong ability to work in a cross-functional and multinational environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English (written and verbal)
