Senior Android Engineer in SWITZERLAND

NYSE-listed AgEagle Aerial Systems is seeking a talented, experienced (5-10 years), and motivated Sr. Android Engineerto join the software team at our senseFly located in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland. The candidate should be able to work autonomously but able to collaborate with the other R&D team members.***Note that this is a 100% office-based position. Neither visa sponsorship nor relocation assistance are available for this role. ***Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain C++ applications
• Design and implement Android applications using Kotlin
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences
• Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functionality
• Propose and implement UX improvements to enhance user satisfaction
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Comfortable and experienced user facing

Requirements:

• Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in C++ development
• Strong knowledge of Android development using Kotlin
• Familiarity with Android SDK, APIs, and frameworks
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Efficiency in proposing UX improvements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
